I liked the "Future Directions" paragraph at the end of chapter 10. It describes the dilema between an increasing need for access to information, and along with that the need to protect confidential information. It concludes by saying tha more needs to be done, and that new technologies will surface which will meet this need. More needs to be done, but what? We'll find out in the future.
On that note, using PDAs to access information. PDAs can provide access to information nearly anywhere in the world, but what if they are stolen? or misused? Greater access again leads to a greater need to protect, but how?
